On all domestic sectors, passengers buying a full fare ticket in EYCL (RBD 'Y') will be entitled to a complimentary domestic ticket in RBD 'G'- valid for 3 months - for their family (spouse/child/parents). Only Government/Airport taxes will be payable on the complimentary ticket. Validity - till 31st Dec 2010. Passengers availing of this scheme will not be entitled to upgrades. Application
All types of journeys in Economy Class on all Domestic Sectors.
Period of ApplicationTravel within Three Months. Sale and travel up to 31st Dec 2010.
FaresFull Fare Economy Class fare to be collected from one passenger.
Accompanying Spouse/child/parentsNo Basic Fare / Fuel Surcharge to be collected. However applicable PSF/UDF/Service Tax (JN) would be required to be paid by the Passenger where ever applicable. Tickets issued under the scheme would not be combined with any other fare types.
Cancellation/RefundBoth Full fare ticket and the accompanying ticket to be cancelled together. Refund Administration Fee of Rs.100 would be applicable on the full fare ticket while the Spouse/child/parents ticket would attract no RAF at the time of refund.
Re-bookingChange of reservation up to 1hour prior to departure would attract no cancellation charge. Booking cancelled within 1hour of departure would be treated as no-show. 100% cancellation charges would be levied on the paid ticket. Both Full fare ticket and the accompanying ticket to be re-booked together.
Re-RoutingPermitted provided both the Full fare paying passenger and the accompanying ticket are presented together for similar re-routing.
DiscountsNo discounts permitted.
TicketingTickets to be purchased together and at least three days in advance. A Signed Declaration from the passenger indicating Name of Spouse/child/Parents will be suffice for ticketing purpose and Tickets can be issued from Air India (AI/IC) Booking offices.
Accompanied TravelFare paying passenger and accompanying Spouse/Child/Parent must travel together on the entire journey.
EligibilitySpouse/child/parents are permitted.
ReservationOnly confirmed Booking Permitted (Waitlist /Time limit not permitted).
Fare BasisFull fare Economy Class ticket in “W-Class”& Accompanying ticket in “G-Class”.
Notes:-Introduction of Companion Free Offer on Easy fare under “MEIP” Fare basis> ( w.e.f. 21st August 2010 upto 30th September 2010)
It has been decided to extend the Companion free offer to passengers purchasing tickets under Easy Fares against “MEIP” fare basis. The paid ticket can be issued by the Travel Agent. But the companion free ticket will be issued only by Air India offices in RBD “X.” The validity of this offer for Sale and Travel would be with effect from 21st August, 2010 to 30th September, 2010.
Extended Offer for Passengers paying full economy class fare Under Monsson Special Offer( w.e.f. 21st August 2010 upto 30th September 2010)
Passenger paying full economy class fare will have the option to either get an upgradation to Executive class on firm basis under Monsoon Special offer {except for the Flight No’s IC941 (Tirupathi-Hyderabad-Delhi), IC840 (Hyderabad-Delhi), IC618 (Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad-Mumbai) and IC946 (Hyderabad-Chennai) which will remain exempted from the offer} or avail the companion free offer for travel in economy class. The companion free ticket will be issued in RBD ‘X’. Rules pertaining to Monsoon Special offer to follow.
